We thought it would be helpful to give a tutorial explaining one of the greatest AAC features of iOS 6, Guided Access. This tutorial explains how to disable the Home Button and keep the iPad “locked” into using a single application. (Importantly, iOS6 is NOT available for the iPad 1.)     Looks like this app could have terrific applicatiions for students who need to be kept out of places on the Ipad where they shouldn’t be! Students can hardly help themselves, will explore the I pad if they can, or there are the unintentional touches that send a device crazy..looks like this could help that too.
